A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post about
Gu Jung Gu Po, Korea's top quality green tea.
Since that post, I was talking to Mr Ahn more about Gu Jung Gu Po, and realized that I'd miss translated our conversation about it a few years ago. My mistake was that I thought he'd told me it meant "nine steams, nine roasts" but it actually means "nine roasts, nine dries". He explained to me that Chinese green tea is steamed but Korean green tea, for the most part, is not.
